dé | re | composition
Espace Forde, Geneva, December 13 - 18, 2019
The exhibition dé | re | composition consisted of Pohutukawa - a collection of 16 works by the Robert Turner Collective - and the installation Sonic Tree by Daniel Maszkowicz.
The starting point is a single image of a tree - the magnificent pohutukawa of New Zealand - and each work is built out of the same basic constituents, yet recomposed in its own unique way. Colour, light, and relative importance of the building blocks have all been adjusted to evoke different realities emerging from a single source.
